When planning any function be it a simple party or perhaps a Wedding, a landmark Birthday, a Corporate Opening or even a Product Launch you should always be concerned about how it will "look" to your guests.

Themeing is all about developing that special "look" because the image developed for a function will often determine how successful it will be.

If you want your function to be something that your guests will remember and talk about for years and years then you should consider calling in one of our "themeing" consultants.

 

We are often called upon the suggest possible "themes" for a function. You've probably been to 60's Party Nights, Beach Party Nights, Formal Balls, Home Dinner Parties, Rock'n'Roll Nights; the list is endless.

We call themeing, "dressing" an area or a room, be it a Marquee, local Hall, Restaurant, Home, Garage or Backyard and even a Warehouse or Corporate Office.

All these different locations require people with the experience and know-how to do it properly.

We have renowned experts like Peter Chenowith who consult to the Event Team. Peter carries a vast stock of backdrops, table decorations and candelabra and whilst based Melbourne, he is prepared to travel anywhere in Australia on demand.

Our own John Moss has vast experience in this area and with the Event Team's massive resources he can transform almost any area into a wonderland.

Another renowned expert, Bruno Domitello, also consults to the Event Team to give additional experience and support with his wonderful lighting and sound effects.

Romantic Red
The passion of red is only equalled by the passion of the Event Team. The Pioneer Women’s Memorial Garden is a magical location with a rich history. Here shown our white tailored chair covers, our red sash’s, our rich red carpet, our certificate signing table. The white Wedding umbrella and the bird bath filled with wild red rose petals.
A Marquee for Indoors!
The creativity of the Event Team is clearly shown with a marquee built inside an aircraft hanger. Out of photo are two multi million dollar executive jets. Your venue, our creativity, our catering, our caring service.
Corporate Themeing
One of our Marquee Structures 10 x 15 metres adorned with our clients corporate colours. The gothic windows, the dry bar tables and stools and the green astro grass floor covering. This marquee joined our Bavarian Catering Theme and serviced 150 corporate guests.
The White Carpet
Minutes before the Wedding Party arrives, the Event Team technicians cut and lay the snow white carpet walkway. Thankfully the families grey long haired Cats went on there own holiday. Yes we can customize to your exact requirement for your beautiful Wedding Day.

Romantic dream wedding
This magnificent Marquee was the centre piece with us utilising the pool area and the patio beside our client's home. The Bride and Groom entered through the front door of the home walked the white carpet and out through the patio to the dreamy marquee.
Christmas Theme
Colour, colour, colour is the basis of this particular theme. Our client was estatic with this casual yet smart style our team created. Colour speaks a thousand words especially when dealing with a traditional holiday like Christmas.
Sometimes simple touches make a much bigger statement. The Event Team are also experienced at themeing actual meals as well as decoration (see catering section).
Classic but sheek styling for four using fresh, refreshing colours of Apple Green, China White with Metalic Silver accents.

A Romantic Setting
Sometimes we are asked to theme a room be it a hotel room or at your home for a very special intimate occasion.Our skills and sensitivity allow us to change an ordinary room into that romantic hideaway and we do it so well.If you would like more information please ring Jarrah and she will listen and implement your desires. 9899 5222
The Event Team were invited to theme and cater at the engagement party of
Frank and at Oakleigh South. The drill hall was at the Army Reserve Combat
Support Battalion and as you can see our simple but formal themeing really
made the hall look very special. About 120 guests attended and dined on our
famous Gourmet Finger Food BBQ which included both hot and cold

Looking through the green plants across the red carpet to a formal
setting of both stand up and sit down options, guests arriving for what was
a surprise engagement party.The drill hall was drapped in black velveteen
curtains to offset the sound. The Juke Box was pre-programmed with romantic
and dance music.

Tables can be "Dressed" to suit your colour theme. Mixing colours to highlight napkins or add to the centre piece.

Precision timing required

Themeing for the premiere of "The Hulk" required a great deal of planning and coordination.

Black Backdrop

Fog machine
The fog machine, producing floor level fog, requires a fog generator, a special frozen fluid and an operator. The CO2 fog is pushed through specially consealed pipes usually around the stage and can add that magnificent 'lighter than air' picture. Perfect for your wedding bridal waltz. "Its like dancing on clouds and will result in that movie star picture, forever".
